The fruit of the lemon tree first appeared on the borders of China and India about 3000 years ago. Today, it is widely cultivated on the Mediterranean coast and in all regions of the world with a semi-tropical climate.
However, the symbolic fruit of the Mediterranean coast, the lemon, comes from India. Because of its sunny color and aroma, it is in all the kitchens of the world.
Lemon essence, which has been traditionally used for its many properties, is in the small pockets of the peel. This essence is extracted by cold pressing - a method that does not involve heating, but which exposes the pericarp of the fresh fruit to very high pressure.
Our lemon, Citrus limon, essential oil is 100% pure and natural, and it is obtained using organic production methods. Lemon is especially known as a strengthening and stimulating essential oil. It is well suited as a room fragrance. Citrus is not recommended when used topically.
